The Partition

On October 8, 2005 the largest earthquake in the history of Pakistan struck approximately 90 kilometers north of Islamabad. From November 9 to February 26, 2006, your friendly neighborhood Fsowalla, shedding his guise as hard-chargin’ Rashid the Political Officer, worked in Pakistan.  In August 2006, however, it came time to move to the other side of the sub-continent.  To the once capital, now crumbling city of Calcutta (Kolkata), where the transformation to the Kolkata Kid began.   And yet.  It came time to hop to that capital before Das Kapital located in the heart of the British empire.  London.
